PRESIDENT OBAMA!

"This victory alone is not the change we seek, it is only the chance for us to make that change"... "We are not a collection of individuals... we are and always will be the United States of America"

President Obama speech was nothing short of mythic. Camelot has returned to America! "The Dream" has received the breath of life from Obama's words. Words that alone have nothing more than the dictionary's given meaning, but spoken together by the new President of America, convey a new hope not only to Americans but to the world as a whole.

I have lived in many places and many different countries, but America is the place I have called home for the longest time. Rightfully or not, until now, I have criticized Americans and their many faults... But today, I proudly stand praising their strengths, humbly recognizing that if there is a nation in this world that knows how to deal with a crisis like the one is, at this moment, the planet facing... without a doubt that is America!

The rebuilding of America laid in Obama's acceptance speech, it also is the rebuilding of the world. A world that stood still waiting for the results of the American election, united in the hope for a better tomorrow.

No other American election has meant so much to the rest of the world as this one has. Today I have more than just an excuse to celebrate, today I have a reason to rejoice! Today I feel prouder as a human being that I have ever felt, for it is through my fellow American human beings that I have regained my faith in humanity. And the only words that keep pounding in my head and my lips can't stop repeating are "YES WE CAN", and all while my face drowns in tears of joy! My only regret is not having had the opportunity to vote in this election. You don't have to guess who would have received my vote... It is pretty obvious. Isn't it?

President Obama! It is a great victory and a great time to be witness of the changes ahead. Cause... YES WE CAN!
