Neither the chilly air, nor the rain stopped anyone from getting out and enjoy the festivities... I included!
It was the second day of Sabadell's Feste Major, and after the pertinent phone calls to organize the party... We started picking up members of the
'summer beach club' along the way. Manolo, Ju and I were the first to get together right in front of
El Corte Ingles, where the
'fira' with attractions for all ages had been placed. The rest joined us minutes later. But before that happened there was something I wanted to do... a ride on the most daring of all the attractions!
I have a thing for roller coasters. I just can't help it. If there is one, I've got to get in!

Kiosks with raffles and games were placed along the edges of the avenue... in the middle were the attractions

This raffle post states in bright neon lights that you will always win something... Always!

This one seemed harmless enough... think again!

Here is the 'Booster' ... This hammer looking swing promises to leave your brains (and stomach) well shaken! Not my cup of tea!

Now, this particular one killed me! Camel races!!!!! you make your camel advance by throwing balls into a series of holes. The farther the hole you score is, the farther your camel moves.

There were hundreds of people visiting the fair that night

And here we go! I wish I had taken my camera with me! You should have seen the view from up there!!! It was scary! To say the least... but so fucking exhilarating!

And up we go... up, up, up...

Up, up, up...

Up encore!

Finally!.... OMG! Holy Shiiiiiiit!!!!! I kept my eyes closed not to panic!

It was so fucking high! The funny thing with me is that I can jump from an airplane at 15,000 ft... but I will get dizzy if I look out a window higher than a 4th floor. The irony!

But... I SURVIVED!!!!
Otherwise, how the hell would I be writing this to you!!!!
The things I do for this blog!!! LOL

Mmmmmm! Delicious junk food! Cotton candy, coconut wedges, and my personal favorite... Candy apples!

And here I go again. Only this time I am not alone, Vera and William are my comrades in this adventure!

Let me tell you one thing.... THIS WAS FUCKING WORST THAN THE OTHER!!!!
Cause the momentum created wasn't so hard, you could feel yourself floating away from the seat... I didn't liked it a bit! Besides, it never seemed to be ending!!! I was shaking and dizzy when it finally stopped.

All of us tried our luck at the firing sorts!

Not bad Joan, not bad at all!

But here is the champion.. Pepe!!!!! Not too shabby my friend!

Vera, Joan et moi.

I think the bartender was drunker than all of us put together... He did tried more than once! But this is the best he could do!!!!
Shameful!

Here is Joan trying on my glasses.

The little ones had plenty to do... Here they are part of a live story telling, they all are little Indians... the ones that always, always get killed in movies!!!!
That's why, when I was little myself, whenever my brother and I played... I always wanted to be the cowboy... and usually was! hehehe

Another infernal machine! Didn't go in it this time, though.
I guess I am getting wiser! lol

There even was a karaoke theater in the middle of the avenue!
But I couldn't sing!!!! I found out too late to inscribe. A shame, really! Look at all the audience I would have had!
