He has always been the stylist for numerous TV commercials and movies that were been shoot in Puerto Rico. So, I don't know why it got me so off guard when he told me he was Milla's stylist on her new movie!
I couldn't have been happier! His accomplishments are a reason for me to rejoice! Couldn't have happened to a better person than Omar. Honestly!
I remember when he was struggling in that slave job he had at Caras del Nuevo Milenio. As I also remember I was one of the ones encouraging him to leave that shit hole and start his own salon. I knew his talent will make him take all the clientele he had been serving so well... and I was right!
I once told a friend of mine about Omar's new project, and how he had become Milla's hair stylist on the movie she was filming at El Yunque in Puerto Rico... I was still living in San Juan, and my friend's comment was that now Omar will charge me a lot more to do my hair. A couple of days later I had to call my friend to tell him the news... Omar not only did an splendid job with my hair, as usual, but he didn't charged me a penny for it!
This is to show you that true friendship goes always above and beyond that flickering thing called fame!
