Restaurante Everest!

My niece Silvia and her fiance Jose, own a restaurant in Parque Guell's vicinity, Everest is the name. If you ever go there, besides the great cooking, you will find yourself among the characters that regularly roam places like this.

My niece making her restaurant entrance... I had been waiting for her for about half an hour already!

My beautiful, beautiful and very smart niece... Silvia! With the twisted mind of a businesswoman! lol

Now, here is something you all should know about her... She started working when she was 18 yrs. old. She didn't want to go to college, so decided to venture in business... She started with a fish store in Mercat de la Llibertat in the hip district of Gracia. A year later was opening a second store in another location, and about two years ago she sold both and bought the restaurant with her fiance and partner!

Along the way, she managed to buy two apartments, which she remodeled and sold making a lot of dough, investing it right away on her third apartment next to the restaurant... And she just turned 27!

I wish I had her business mind and savvy ways... Well, nobody is perfect! Me, I am the artist, nothing more, nothing less.

Manel the bartender... is a very nice flit! He will do all in his power to make you feel welcome, and if you become a regular... he will remember what you like to drink and just pour it right in front of you! He is great!

Naty the cook, she is always fighting with Jose, in a funny way though! She makes a terrific paella! Had the pleasure of finally taste it!

Starting to fight... Now, I've noticed it is Jose who's always starting it... he can't help it, he is like every men I know... a kid at heart!
